White House or Jailhouse

White House or Jailhouse

A person of interest to the F.B.I.? Hillary Clinton for President or for prison?

It’s amazing to me that someone can be the front runner of a political party who is slated to get the nomination running for President of the United States while perhaps weeks away from a Federal indictment and criminal prosecution, unless of course your last name is Clinton. Anyone who has been half-awake over the past twenty some odd years is well aware of the scandals surrounding Hillary Clinton. Far too many to drudge up here in any detail but you can do your own homework.

Scandals of Past

Watergate 1974, Whitewater 1978-1998, Vince Foster Suicide 1993, Travelgate 1993, Chinagate 1996, Senate Campaign Donations 2000, Clinton Foundation 2001-2016, Sandy Berger 2007, WikiLeaks 2010, Benghazi 2012, Haiti Mining 2012, Private e-mails, 2012.

There was also the Monica Lewinski issue and the alleged sexual assaults and infidelity cover –ups but this is nothing compared with some more recent events and scandals surrounding Mrs. Clinton. There is the Clinton Foundation misappropriation of funds, the Arab Spring, and the controversy over Clinton’s involvement (or lack thereof) in the Benghazi tragedy. And now front and center there is the e-mail/server scandal. There seems to be an increasing agreement across party lines within the voting public that she is a pathological liar.

President or Prison?

Can Hillary avoid indictment in the e-mail scandal? Former prosecutor and Mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani said he does not think there is any way Hillary Clinton should be able to avoid facing an indictment for the “secretive and highly classified“ government information found on the private email server she used while secretary of state.

“There are 13 violations of federal law that she arguably committed,” Giuliani told Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” program. “This is about as clear as it gets. It is a crime to negligently handle top secret material.” These emails sent from her private server when she was secretary of state should have been marked with classifications even higher than “top secret.”

The FBI is ready to indict Hillary Clinton and if its recommendation isn’t followed by the U.S. attorney general, the agency’s investigators plan to blow the whistle and go public with their findings, former U.S. House Majority leader Tom DeLay tells Newsmax TV. “I have friends that are in the FBI and they tell me they’re ready to indict,” DeLay said Monday on “The Steve Malzberg Show.”

Clinton is under FBI investigation for her use of a private server to conduct confidential government business while she was secretary of state. But some Republicans fear any FBI recommendation that hurts Clinton will be squashed by the Obama administration.

So again we ask – Whitehouse or jailhouse? Seems to me the evidence is there to take her down. The question is if they decide to take her down or not. If the FBI & DOJ are told to “stand down” so to speak then the question is answered unless top brass within the FBI resigns over it and causes more noise. Time will tell. They may be shifting gears behind the scenes to usher in Bernie or perhaps someone else? Who knows – all speculation.

If it is to be business as usual she will escape indictment and prosecution and may very well be ushered into the White House. Some will be pleased, many will say “God forbid”. The race for the Whitehouse has really just begun. I sometimes wonder if there will even be an election in 2016 again time will tell.
