Martial Law Think Twice
Since there has been so much talk of Martial Law, with the militarized police, UN Troops on American soil, executive orders and BHO pushing for gun control and gun confiscation, I posted a total of 12 blog posts thus far in 2016 relating to Martial Law (see links below) and have been inspired to write post this one today by a good friend of mine who has reminded me that Martial Law does indeed swing both ways. Let’s take a look at what happens under martial law and why BHO and company is reluctant to declare Martial Law. Thus this post. Martial Law think twice.
What Happens Under Martial Law
The US Constitution would be suspended. Habeas corpus (the right to be charged, and tried in court) would be suspended. Civil rights would be suspended. Civil law would be suspended. There would be no freedom of the press. There would be no freedom of assembly. There would be no freedom of speech. Curfews would be enforced on the people. There would be troops in the streets for enforcement. Checkpoints would be set up for control. Tthe government would assume the right to hold persons without charging them with crimes. The government would assume the right to arrest anyone who is a “suspect”. Imprisonment without representation or due process could be implemented. The potential for house-to-house confiscation of firearms, ammunition, or food supplies would exist. It’s every an for himself. As they draw their weapons so will you.
What Else Happens Under Martial
Bullets will fly in both directions, plain and simple and fully on display for the world to see. Since laws are suspended you can expect every man for himself. Remember the right to bear arms and to defend ones life is a divine right. Need they be reminded that Americans are heavily armed thanks to our second amendment. There are also many well trained men and women and militias and such will be formed. There are an estimated 300 million or more firearms in the United States. The battle that would ensue would consist of perhaps 20 million or more armed Americans against the militarized police, national guard, DHS, UN troops, and the U.S. military Also consider many of the police, National Guard and U.S. military will not fire upon citizens of the U.S., their family, friends and neighbors. Bullets will be flying in both directions. Once Martial Law gets going it’s very hard to stop since the civilian chain of command is broken. It is highly likely that on a local basis the military units will coalesce with impromptu militias to seek out the real enemies of America. So let the political class be reminded that at the end of the day it always goes very badly for them historically. Martial Law? Think twice!
The Martial Law We Need
There are many types of use for Martial Law one is where the military takes over a typically corrupt government like a coup d’ etat which is legal and constitutional. Something that many would like to see happen right now in America.
