Music can cure things that medication can’t. Music, film, and many art forms make a difference. We can contribute greatly to a new culture of love and peace, not one of hate, war, greed, evil, corruption, hunger, and vanity. We can change the direction in which we are heading; we must as the alternative is too much to fathom. I wrote another blog on the importance that the artist plays in the formation of a society. I believe that films may very well be the most influential medium through the arts that we have. Why? Because it is all encompassing with its movement, sight, sound, color, script, acting, technology, music scores, etc.
Music and true art of all forms can be a healing and inspirational force, not just an entertainment source. Our time has come for the visionary artists to heal, inspire, and help create a better world. Time is short, and the hour is at hand. Music is our universal language; let us unite in love and peace. The words love and peace are not over used or cliché, they are the core foundation for surviving and thriving. I have written more than fifty songs over these years.
